As she retreats back into the prarie the chapel blends into the landscape. A
crystalline
jewel in the grass. And when the moon rises over the horizon, the chapel glows subtly in the night as to not obstruct the views of the cosmos.
The roadside chapel is an ancient typology built to serve travelers in the throws of their journey; Supplying a space for the public to meditate in solitude.

The glass brick bead evokes distorted dreams of the prairie in which it sits, altering passers a shifted perception of the enviornment. The chapel is designed as both an oasis and observation point, prompting rumination on our natural and interpersonal relationships, and our connection with the cosmos.
